Owl in the tree goes, “Hoo, hoo hoo,”
Owl in the tree goes, “Hoo, hoo hoo,”
Owl in the tree goes, “Hoo, hoo hoo,”
Hoo, hoo, hoo, my darling.

Activities
Five Little Owls
Five little owls sitting in a tree
One flew away!
How many do you see?
One, two, three, four.
Four little owls sitting in a tree
One flew away!
How many do you see?
One, two, three.
Three little owls… etc.

O-W-L
We spelled out the word OWL using letters I printed and laminated, then stuck onto the dry erase board with double-sided tape. Once we went over the letters used, I added an S and explained how that made the word plural. We then added other letters to the beginning of the word to find rhymes.

Craft
I printed out this owl craft from First School and the children pasted them onto a piece of brown construction paper then colored them in. Volunteers cut out the pieces ahead of time for the toddlers, while the preschoolers cut their own out.
